Process
I documented the event in real time, focusing on authentic moments between service members and their families. The footage was structured to emphasize emotion, timing and clarity while maintaining a professional and respectful tone.
Outcome
The video was published on DVIDS and Indiana National Guard social media accounts. Collaborations with the National Guard and the Indiana Governor's social media accounts shared this return home experience with a broader audience. This project strengthened my ability to capture unscripted moments and communicate them effectively through video.

Overview
This project focused on capturing and producing video coverage of Indiana National Guard service members returning home following a deployment. The goal was to document the moment in a way that highlighted emotion, family connection and community support.
